Shipping and Returns

Shipping 

We ship via UPS Ground and UPS 3 Day Select to the 48 contiguous states.  Please note that we do not accept orders to a P.O. Box as UPS will only deliver to a physical address. We do NOT pass on any UPS fuel surcharges to you as the customer when fuel rates are high.

Please see the shipping time under the “availability” on the details for each item, this information will tell you how many days the item will take to ship from our warehouse and is separate from actual shipping time via UPS. Please note that personalized items have a processing time of 4-5 business day. You can log into your account to see when your item ships and follow it via the tracking number that we will send in a follow up email.

Unfortunately, we are not able to ship to APO/FPO boxes at this time as UPS service does not deliver to these locations. However, upon checkout, you can ship your order to an alternative address (such as a friend or relative in the USA) and they can then forward the package to you.

A signature for all orders $250 and over is required.


Free Shipping Promotions

On occasion The Favored Bride will run Free Shipping promotions based on order totals, in the case that free shipping is reached during one of our promotions the free shipping rules are as follows:

Alaska, Hawaii, orders are excluded from any free ground shipping promotions.   

Normal processing time will apply. Rush orders, 3 Day Select and Air Delivery are not included for this free shipping promotions.

When an order receives the free shipping returns will be subjected to the original shipping charge if the cost of the items returned causes total sale amount to fall below the free ship threshold or if the the entire order is returned. If the proceeding occurs the original shipping charge will be deducted from the return amount. Customers must still pay for any return shipping.

Returns

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of UPS delivery for a exchange, credit or full refund of purchase price, less shipping cost. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error ( if you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.) You must notify us of the item within 5 business days.

Customers are responsible for paying for return shipping except (as stated above) the return is for a defective or order error on our part.

We pride ourselves on carrying high quality wedding favors, gifts and accessories. Our number one goal is that your shopping experience is enjoyable and stress free. You can return anything except the items in the category below:

ITEMS NOT RETURNABLE:


Partial Quantity Returns Due to quantity pricing, we can not accept partial order returns.

Customized orders, (personalized orders, and engraved products)

Consumables - Edible items

Closeouts / Clearance Items

Wearables  (garters, worn jewelry)

Please contact us via email at customerservice@thefavoredbride.com for an Return Authorization (RA) number or log into your account to request a return before returning your package, you may also use the contact us form on the website. We will email you a confirmation email with return instructions.

Obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number within 14 days of the date we shipped your order. Please note: returns will not be accepted without an RMA Number. RMA Numbers expire 14 days after the date they are created; the return will not be accepted if it is received after that time. 


All Returns must have a RA number posted clearly on the outside of the return package or box.

No returns will be credited without an issued RA number.

Please return your order to the warehouse address provided in your return confirmation email as we ship from several distribution centers throughout the United States. Please do not return your order to our corporate office address listed on your packing slip, unless instructed to do so. If a return is sent prior to RA instructions and is sent to the wrong warehouse location there will be a charge for additional shipping for us to return them back to the proper warehouse inventory.

For your protection, we suggest customers use a trackable shipping company such as, UPS or FedEx. The ability to track your package will only assure your return gets handled in a timely manner. 


Please insure your parcel back to the address we provide you in our return email, as we will not be able to offer you credit on any merchandise which was damaged in return transit.


Under no circumstances do we accept returns past 30 days (one month), calculated from the UPS or FedEx delivery date.

NO REFUNDS ON:
* Items returned which were damaged during transit back to us. Please insure your parcel back to us, as we will not be able to offer you credit on any merchandise which was damaged in return transit.

* Orders returned to the incorrect return address as stated above. We will email you the proper address to return your order to. Please follow the return instructions in our return email. Since we have multiple distribution centers, your order will need to be returned to address we provide to you.


* Returns past 30 days from the UPS delivery date.

* Any items in the "Items Not Returnable" category as listed above.

Once received at our facility, your return will be processed within 5 to 7 business days. Credits are processed upon confirmation and inspection of the return. You will receive an automated e-mail notification confirming your return has been processed. Please allow up to two billing cycles for the return credit to appear on your credit card statement. 

Please note, credits are processed for the original cost paid for the merchandise and tax. Shipping and handling fees will not be refunded unless the return was a damaged item or an error on our part.

Online Changes & Cancellations

Our order fulfillment and shipping systems are designed to send orders quickly and efficiently. Processing begins as soon as an order has been placed, therefore we cannot change, cancel or modify orders once they have been confirmed. Note that this includes product changes as well as payment, shipping address and shipping method.
